Louisville Football Receives Favorable Odds to Win ACC
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The 2023 college football season might be roughly four months away, but that hasn't stopped gambling sites from releasing preliminary conference championship odds. BetOnline.ag is one such site, recently releasing their opening odds to win the 2023 Atlantic Coast Conference Championship.
Like many in the college football world, BetOnline.ag is high on Louisville heading into 2023, and have them as a potential dark horse in the ACC. They gave them the fourth-best odds to win the conference at 10-1, with only Florida State (8-5), Clemson (19-10) and North Carolina (6-1) having better odds.
The Cardinals finished their 2022 season strong, eventually posting an overall record of 8-5 with a 24-7 win over Cincinnati in the Fenway Bowl. Louisville also brought in Jeff Brohm to lead the program, which many college football pundits believe is a perceived upgrade over Scott Satterfield - who left for the Cincinnati job - at head coach. The Cardinals also bring in the No. 27 high school recruiting class and No. 8 transfer class, according to 247Sports.
Most importantly, Louisville's schedule in 2023 is extremely favorable. They avoid having to play the top three teams in the league in Clemson, Florida State and North Carolina, they play seven home games and only have three true road games against NC State, Pitt and Miami on tap.
