Louisville Makes Top Eight for '25 RB Girard Pringle Jr.

The running back is a top-100 prospect in the state of Florida.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Louisville football program's recruiting efforts among some of their top targets in the Class of 2025 are starting to yield some dividends.

Seffner (Fla.) Armwood running back Girard Pringle Jr. announced his top eight schools on Wednesday night, and the Cardinals are still in the running. Georgia, Alabama, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, Miami, Georgia Tech and Boston College also made the cut.

Pringle was identified as a target by head coach Jeff Brohm and his staff last year, extending him a scholarship offer late last August. Brohm and several of his assistants also paid a visit to Pringle last month.

The 5-foot-10, 182-pound back is regarded as the No. 52 running back in the cycle, the No. 96 prospect in the talent-rich state of Florida, and the No. 656 recruit in the nation according to the 247Sports Composite.

Pringle had an extremely productive junior season for Armwood. In 219 carries, he compiled 1,683 rushing yards to average 7.7 yards per carry, while also posting 24 rushing touchdowns. Also catching seven passes for 80 yards and one score, he helped the Hawks go 10-2 on the year with an appearance in the Class 3M regional semifinals.

Louisville currently sports a three-man 2025 recruiting class, with Oxford (Ala). HS quarterback Mason Mims, Goshen (Ky.) North Oldham offensive linemen Gradey Anthony and Westerville (Oh.) North offensive lineman Jake Cook in the mix.
