WATCH: LSU's Paul Skenes, Dylan Crews Shining At The Next Level

LSU stars Paul Skenes and Dylan Crews took the country by storm after leading the Tigers to the 2023 National Championship, and as they begin their professional journeys, they're off to a hot start.

The No. 1 and No. 2 overall picks in the 2023 MLB Draft, the pair of Tigers have looked the part as the next chapter of their playing careers unfold.

Crews is shining with the Washington Nationals organization. The dynamic center fielder has been called up to the Fredericksburg Nationals after a strong start to rookie ball.

The former Tiger slugger has already launched his first professional bomb and grand slam while making an instant impact.

For Skenes, he made his professional debut on Thursday, but the Pirates organization is being conservative with his volume. He pitched one inning where he retired all three batters, striking out the final one.

Skenes has been elevated to Single-A ball where he'll pitch on Tuesday for the Bradenton Marauders.

Disciplined hitters like Dylan Crews should not be in Single-A. So many non-competitive pitches and called third strikes that just aren’t. Disciplined hitters actually see their numbers improve as they move up the minors. Crews needs to be in AA.
