Kim Mulkey doesn’t stop when it comes to recruiting, and as she looks to build a program for the long haul, she’s begun dipping into the 2025 class. LSU is hosting five-star guard Keeley Parks for a visit to Baton Rouge this weekend.

Parks, a top 10 prospect nationally, made her way to campus on Saturday as the Tigers begin making a push for the rising junior.

An Oklahoma native, Parks’ recruitment has taken off after a productive sophomore campaign at Norman High. The Tigers made it a point to get in her ear early as she begins blowing up on the recruiting trail.

Parks has received several Power Five offers, and with LSU assistant coach Gary Redus making a push, the Tigers will certainly make an impression.

An offer list that already includes North Carolina, Louisville, Illinois, Alabama and more, Parks has solidified herself as one of the top prospects in the country and top programs have taken notice.

Parks is the first 2025 prospect to take a visit to Baton Rouge, but LSU is putting in work quietly in the 2024 class.

The Tigers will get a visit from the No. 3 prospect in the 2024 cycle, Kate Koval, later this year. The 6-foot-5 post player locked in her official visit schedule where she will take three visits in September with LSU getting one of their own.

Koval will visit LSU, Miami and Notre Dame this fall after visiting Stanford during the spring. A consensus five-star prospect, the Tigers are getting in early for one of the top prep players in the country.

Koval has earned a ton of national recognition following her standout junior campaign. She was named a Naismith All-American while earning the New York Gatorade Player of the Year award. The Gatorade Player of the Year award recognizes players for their success on the court and off.

For LSU to get a visit from the Top 5 prospect nationally is another win for this program. Last week, the Tigers made the cut for 2024 five-star prospect Justice Carlton, who released her final five schools with LSU making the cut.

Carlton, No. 4 prospect in the nation Texas native, has been a hot name on the market over the last year and a half as programs battle for her services. With the defending champion LSU Tigers now heavily in the mix, getting Carlton down to campus will be of the utmost importance.

The 6-foot-2 talent is fresh off of averaging 22.3 points, 9.3 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 2.2 steals, and 2.0 blocks for Seven Lakes High School in Katy, Tex. as a junior. After a dominant run, she was named the 9-6A Offensive Player of the Year.
