Prediction: Kim Mulkey and LSU WBB To Land Commitment From Four-Star Guard Bella Hines

Mulkey and the Tigers are keeping tabs on Hines, looking to secure commitment soon.

Kim Mulkey and the LSU women's basketball staff continue their pursuit of the nation's top talent via the NCAA Transfer Portal and high school ranks.

After signing the No. 1 player in Louisiana, Jada Richard, in the 2024 cycle, they've begun building relationships in the 2025 class.

LSU has been tied to Top 35 prospect Bella Hines and sources tell LSU Country that Hines remains a player this program is pushing to land a commitment from soon.

The four-star guard is a player the Tigers covet, and after bringing her to Baton Rouge for a visit last weekend, LSU is trending for her services.

Hines was in for an official visit where she had the opportunity to see LSU defeat Rice and Middle Tennessee in the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament; punching their ticket to the Sweet 16 in Albany, New York.

After speaking with sources familiar with Hines recruitment, we believe LSU is in a solid position for the Top 35 recruit and have now logged a prediction for the Tigers to get the job done.

The No. 31 rated player in the 2025 class, the Tigers are high on her as a three-level scorer. Hines, a New Mexico native, has proven to be one of the most lethal bucket-getters in America after averaging a whopping 33 points per game as a junior.

She announced her top ten teams on March 17, including LSU, Iowa, Baylor, Arizona, Florida State, Texas Tech, NC State, West Virginia, TCU, and Kansas State with the defending National Champions beginning to separate themselves from the pack.

LSU has been in New Mexico to hold in-home visits with Hines as well as check out a few of her games over the last few months.

Now, it's full steam ahead to secure a pledge from the four-star guard with LSU trending for her services.
