A two-sport star, Green has flown up the rankings in both football and basketball. The No. 2 player in the state on the gridiron, a big-time junior campaign watched his status rise quickly, and on the hardwood it’s been the same story after catapulting his ranking to the No. 1 power forward in Louisiana.

Modern Tight End
Green is a pass catcher who has taken strides in the right direction in the receiving game. With soft hands, which can be due to his success in basketball, he’s emerged as a gifted receiving tight end.
In his junior campaign, Green caught 42 passes for 864 yards with an average of 20.6 yards per catch. He’s hard to take down in space, but Green has also emerged as a lethal red zone threat. Last season, he reeled in 14 touchdowns with a score in 11 of his 12 games played.
The four-star tight end gives you a modern day player who can fit offensive coordinator Mike Denbrock’s scheme like a glove. As he prepares for his senior season, the development as a blocker will be a piece to monitor.
Physical Traits/Versatility
Green already stands at 6-foot-6, 235-pounds as a junior in high school. He’s a menace on the gridiron and has all the intangibles to watch his ranking skyrocket even more. The God given size and strength is something that will only improve as he continues filling out his frame.
Yes, he’s already 235 pounds, but once in a strength and conditioning program like LSU’s, his physical stature will change drastically. For a guy his size, he’s extremely mobile and moves his feet well. As he continues getting faster, the sky’s the limit for Green.
Another trait this program likes from the Louisiana native is his versatility. Green can be a threat in the short field game or get down the field as a vertical threat. Look for the youngster to improve from a speed perspective and become even scarier before he gets to Baton Rouge.

Football is Green’s moneymaker. He’s an absolute stud. But on the hardwood is where he can make an immediate impact for McMahon’s program that can only improve. Green is an undersized big man at the next level, but his strength and physical traits are what will make him a force to be reckoned with in the paint.
He’s dominated the AAU circuit, shined bright during high school ball and is ready to be a two-sport athlete at the next level. Green is a rim rattler who lives above the rim, but can also be a force on the defensive end.
A player whose football skill set also translates to basketball, he’s very physical on the court. For Coach McMahon to get Green to campus in 2024 will give this program a player with tremendous upside as they continue navigating the new era of LSU hoops.
