BREAKING: Michigan Adds Four-Star Wideout To No. 1 Recruiting Class

The Michigan Wolverines continued their hot streak on the recruiting trail on Sunday, this time with the addition of four-star wideout Channing Goodwin. It's the first wide receiver commitment for the Wolverines in the 2024 class.
Given all of the circumstances working in Michigan's favor, it would have been a shock had Goodwin committed anywhere other than Michigan. Not only did his father play for the Wolverines back in the early 2000's, Goodwin's current high school teammate - five-star quarterback Jadyn Davis - is currently committed to Michigan's 2024 class.
The 6-1, 180 pound wideout is currently listed as the No. 7 ranked player in the state of North Carolina and the No. 38 ranked wideout nationally. Goodwin selected the Wolverines several other programs, including North Carolina, South Carolina, North Carolina State, Wake Forest, Virginia Tech and Virginia.
With the commitment of Goodwin, the Wolverines now have 16 total commitments in the 2024 class - a class that might end up being Harbaugh's best class yet. Here's a look at all of the players that a part of Michigan's No. 1 ranked recruiting class so far:
