Listen: Dave Pearson Talks Michigan Football '02, '03 Wins Over MSU

A native of Brighton, Mich., a high school teammate of phenom Drew Henson, Pearson began his U-M career in 1999 a linebacker, then evolved into a defensive lineman. After his redshirt sophomore year, the coaches moved him to offensive center where Pearson found his calling - he started two seasons, 26 games overall, over his final two years.
In this weekly interview, called #GameOfMyLife and heard every Friday at 10:30am on "Inside the Huddle with Michael Spath," Pearson discusses his recruiting experience, why he switched positions, U-M's devastating "clockgate" loss at Michigan State in 2001, and then signature victories over the Spartans in 2002 (49-3) and 2003 (27-20).
For an encore to Pearson's conversation, a former teammate of his - defensive end Dan Rumishek - called in to offer another perspective on the Wolverines' 2002 win, which led to a coaching change in East Lansing.
