Listen: Game Of My Life With Ron Simpkins
This week's #GameOfMyLife features former Michigan All-American linebacker Ron Simpkins as he breaks down the Wolverines' 41-3 win over No. 5 Texas A&M in 1977 at The Big House.

Out of Detroit Western High School, Simpkins starred at Michigan from 1976-79, setting a record (that still stands) for career tackles with 516. He had 150+ tackles in each of his final three seasons, earning all-conference first-team honors each of those years and first-team All-American honors as a senior in 1979.
Coming off a 10-2 record in 1976, Texas A&M opened the 1977 season 3-0 with a win over No. 7 Texas Tech and entered play ranked fifth in the country with a running back room featuring George Woodard and Curtis Dickey. Simpkins and Co. would own those two and the Aggies overall in the blowout victory.
