Michigan's defense had "total domination at the line of scrimmage" according to former Wolverine James Whitley. He discusses what he liked (almost everything) and what can be improved upon following U-M's 45-14 win over Notre Dame.

A former defensive captain in 2000 and a three-year starter at cornerback for the Wolverines from 1998-2000, James Whitley joins Ann Arbor's "Inside the Huddle with Michael Spath" every Wednesday at 12:30pm to offer his thoughts on the performance of the Michigan defense. 

This week, Whitley jumps into conversation about the success of man-to-man and zone-defense schemes, the play-making ability of U-M defensive backs, particularly senior cornerback Lavert Hill and redshirt sophomore safety Brad Hawkins, and more.
