Jim Harbaugh has been asked many times about the starting kicker situation and each time he's responded by saying he has two starting kickers in Jake Moody and Quinn Nordin. When Moody was asked, he gave an answer like you'd expect with Harbaugh as his head coach.

Brown's Breakdown

I flat out don't agree with the kicker rotation approach. I feel like Moody is the guy and should be called upon if Michigan needed a field goal to win a game.

Thus far, the two of them have both made 15-of-15 extra point, but Nordin has yet to make a field goal in three attempts. Granted, a couple of his were little more than prayers, but he's still 0'fer.

Moody on the other hand is 6-of-8 with a long of 43. He was also asked to try a nearly impossible kick from 58 yards but he said that he's made from 67 in perfect practice conditions. Before he got to Michigan he made a 57 yarder as a prep star so he's got plenty of leg.

Still, anything over 55 yards feels like a "give it a shot" opportunity for Nordin, with Moody being in charge of everything else. That's how I feel the duties should be divided.
