Izzone issued warning from Big Ten!
On January 14, the Spartans had a big comeback win against the Illini at the Breslin. The Izzone took it up a notch and were loud and proud. When the Illini’s specific player touched the ball they chanted DUI. The reason for the chant was because of a previous DUI incident.
The Big Ten commissioner who has nothing to better to do with his time decided to give the Izzone a warning. The way I understand it is that this is the Izzone’s first warning of the year, another warning would bring a public reprimand and a third warning would get the University fined and a fourth would be removal of the student section.
I guess the pathetic powers of the Big Ten have nothing better to do with their time then police the Big Ten’s best student section.
MEMO TO THE BIG TEN: take a trip to the ACC and review their student sections. They are what we would call…BAD! Also, while on that trip, please get a life.
