The #1 team in America is right here in East Lansing and of course we are talking about the Michigan State Spartans and their Hall of Fame head coach Tom Izzo.
The Spartans kick off the season on November 5 at 9:30 PM in New York. The Spartans will be taking on the #2 Kentucky Wildcats in the Champions Classic. No doubt that nation’s attention is already looking at the critical first game of the year heavyweight fight. The game can be seen on ESPN.
So as I write this the Spartans are in the air flying to Gotham for this matchup. The Spartans are certainly excited, but Tom Izzo knows that it is a long season ad he purposely schedules as hard as he does so that he can learn all of his team’s warts early, and get them ready for March. It is pure brilliance.
The Spartans Hall of Fame head coach Tom Izzo is a difference maker. A far superior coach to Calipari, the Spartans head man has had an elongated pre-season to come up with a game plan.
