“First, I want to thank all members of the immediate Spartan family – and many others – for their support and understanding over the past few days. The McCallie family is very grateful and, based upon our years as Spartans, certainly not surprised.

Let me assure everyone that my personal intense focus is on preparation for the NCAA Tournament. We’re looking forward to the announcement of the pairings Monday night because this team is so excited about the unique opportunity it has in becoming the first team in school history to play at home in the NCAA Tournament.”

My question is how about an apology? I asked John Lewandowski, the MSU Sports Information Director about setting up a time to speak to her today and he told me that she wouldn't with pending legal action. I offered to do it and only speak to her about things other then the police report and again he denied on her behalf.

I would say that even if she feels nothing was done wrong on their part she at least owes MSU an apology for the embarrassment that the University has received as it relates to this. Is there a positive spin on your husband allegedly biting a cop?
 

 I have several questions for her that I plan to ask, and I also am giving her and open invitation to come on my show at anytime to discuss issues other then her husband's pending legal action. I am not holding my breath but she has the invitation. I will agree to an interview that can't discuss anything that pertains to her husband’s pending action. I do have several questions however that I think need to be answered.

MSU is about to host for the first time the NCAA tournament, and MSU deserved for her to address the situation and even if she is getting legal counsel that says don't discuss your husband I think she should have faced the media. At the very least, MSU deserved an apology for the embarrassment the entire situation has caused the school. Sadly it didn't get it. That keeps this alive.
