Let's start today's episode by bringing in the legendary high school football and basketball coach Chuck Grenier to discuss Michigan State athletics' latest news.
The Spartans are set to kickoff against Michigan in a noon game on Halloween.
It's the 113th meeting between these two in-state rivals; and the 68th battle for the Paul Bunyan Trophy.
MSU needs to improve in many areas before taking on the Wolverines.
Hopefully, Mel Tucker and the coaching staff have cleaned up the turnovers because if Michigan State can't hang on to the ball vs. Michigan, it will get ugly fast.
Other than LB Antjuan Simmons, Grenier says he didn't see a lot of guys playing with 'juice,' and from what he witnessed, they weren't prepared.
Of course, without any fans, it's challenging to create your own energy during home games.
Grenier points out how things felt very different, watching the game on television.
He coached high school football for more than a few years, and the only thing missing from Saturday's "preseason scrimmage" were coaches standing behind their teams on the field.
