Just A Bulldog Minute: Dak Prescott vs. The New York Giants

How Dak Prescott led the Dallas Cowboys to victory over the New York Giants.

After a 49-17 domination by the Dallas Cowboys, the New York Giants took their 12th-overall loss to Dak Prescott. This record by the Mississippi State former quarterback now surpasses the streak set by Roger Staubach by one more win.

Along with this new record, Prescott also passed for 404 yards, making him the first Dallas Cowboys player to surpass 400 passing yards. With 26 of 36 completed passes, Prescott also threw four four touchdowns, and rushed for one, totaling five touchdowns in this game alone.

"After last year what we worked on, what we started, we just knew we could continue to get better," said Prescott in a post-game interview with Fox Sports reporter Erin Andrews. "And we're just showing it."

In the third quarter alone, Prescottt secured three touchdowns. One was scored by a 41-yard drop pass to Michael Gallup, and another by a 12-yard scoring strike to Lamb.

Altogether, the Cowboys racked up over 600 passing yards while the Giants stayed at 400 yards. The Cowboys 12th victory marks the longest winning streak against the New York Giants since at least 1950.

"He's always in the zone," said Cowboys wide receiver Ceedee Lamb about Prescott. "I'm happy for him and we're going to continue to do this for as long as we can."

The Cowboys now have the largest margin of victory in a given week across the NFL four times. Although they can blowout a good team, they still need to show that they have what it takes to stomp a great team.

This incredible sweep by Dak Prescott puts the team at a six-in-three record, leaving the Giants at two-in-eight. This weekend, the Cowboys will take on the Carolina Panther on Sunday at noon.
