Mississippi State's Conference Schedule Revealed For 2023-24 Men's Basketball Season
The SEC officially revealed Mississippi State's conference schedule for the upcoming 2023-24 men's basketball season this week, via an official press release from the conference.
In their 18-game schedule, the Bulldogs will face all 13 conference opponents at least once. The SEC will release game times and broadcasting networks for its conference slate at a later date.
The Bulldogs open conference play on the road at South Carolina on January 6, which will be the first of a home-and0 series. Their first home game in the newly renovated Humphrey Coliseum will be on January 10, when they host Tennessee in Starkville.
Along with South Carolina, the Bulldogs also have home-and-home series set up with defending SEC champions Alabama, along with Auburn, Kentucky, and in-state rival Ole Miss.
Outside of their home-and-home series, the Bulldogs also have home games lined up against Georgia and Arkansas at home while they will also take on Missouri, Florida, LSU, and Texas A&M on the road.
After the conclusion of their conference slate, the team will travel to Nashville, Tennessee for the SEC Tournament, which is scheduled to begin March 13. The NCAA Selection Show will be on March 17 at 5 PM CT on CBS, immediately following the conclusion of the SEC Tournament.
The Bulldogs will be lead by Chris Jans, who is entering his second season as Mississippi State's head coach. The Bulldogs will see over 80% of its scoring return for this upcoming season, including forward Tolu Smith, who returning for his final year of eligibility.
