Watch: Everything Mississippi State Head Coach Zach Arnett Said After 40-17 Loss To Alabama

Mississippi State head Coach Zach Arnett met with the media following the team's 40-17 loss to the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Mississippi State (2-3) remains winless in SEC play after being defeated 40-17 by the Alabama Crimson Tide on Saturday in Davis Wade Stadium.

The Bulldogs seemed to have the momentum at first as they brought the pressure on Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe, but they could not maintain the consistency as things quickly got out of hand after the first quarter.

MSU head coach Zach Arnett met with the media following the loss, fielding questions on a number or topics.

"We gave up a long touchdown drive," Arnett said when asked about how tough it was to bounce back when Alabama pulled away after the half.

"You’re not gonna beat a whole lot of good football teams when you give up a touchdown, and then you have an opportunity for a two-minute drill, and you throw an interception on the first play and give them a short field. Poor job of game management by the coach. Should have taken a knee, come out after halftime down 14 instead of going down 21. Poor job by the head coach."
