Mississippi State Football Announces Season Ticket Sellout

Mississippi State football sold out its season ticket allotment at the highest rate since 2015.

The new era for Mississippi State football has opened with a bang as the program announced Tuesday that season tickets had sold out.

The Bulldogs sold out their allotment of over 40,000 season tickets, the highest total of new season tickets purchased since 2015.

MSU Deputy AD/Director Of External Engagement Tom Greene has said that season ticket sales are expected to end up in the range of 42,000 and 43,000 tickets once student season tickets are factored into the final total.

The program anticipates at least three single-game sellouts on the schedule, between LSU (Sept. 16), Alabama (Sept. 30) and Ole Miss (Nov. 23). The totals are already close to reaching sellout status, as Greene announced earlier in the week that there were less than 1,000 tickets still left available for the team's matchup against the Crimson Tide.

The Bulldogs come off of their first nine-win season since 2017 after they went 8-4 in the 2022 regular season under late head coach Mike Leach, capping it all off with a 19-10 win over the Illinois Fighting Illini in the ReliaQuest Bowl under defensive coordinator turned head coach, Zach Arnett.

The Bulldogs will open up the 2023 schedule against the Southeastern Louisiana Lions on Sept. 2.
