What To Know And How To Watch: Mississippi State Vs. South Carolina

What to know and how to tune in as Mississippi State takes on South Carolina on Saturday night.

Mississippi State football (2-1) looks to get its first win of the 2023 season against the South Carolina Gamecocks (1-2) on Saturday night after the Bulldogs fell, 41-14 to the visiting LSU Tigers in Week 3.

The Gamecocks, while keeping things competitive against the No. 1-ranked Georgia Bulldogs last week, will also look to bounce back after the matchup ultimately ended in a 24-14 loss away from home.

One thing to keep in eye on in this one will be the performance of South Carolina quarterback Spencer Rattler against the MSU secondary. Rattler, formerly pinned as potential No. 1 NFL Draft pick, has shown some signs of re-establishing himself as a player to watch, but also remains inconsistent.

He finished out Saturday's loss to Georgia going 22-of-42 passing for 256 yards with 1 touchdown and 2 interceptions.

Here's a look at what to know and how to tune in to the contest between the Gamecocks and the Bulldogs, regardless of where you are at kickoff:
