Watch: Everything Mississippi State Head Coach Zach Arnett Said Ahead Of Week 6 Contest Against Western Michigan

Mississippi State head Coach Zach Arnett met with the media ahead of the team's Week 6 matchup against Western Michigan.

Mississippi State (2-3) has still yet to get its first SEC victory of the season, mostly recently falling 40-17 to the No. 12-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide.

Before this, the Bulldogs also dropped a pair of in-conference contests to the LSU Tigers and the South Carolina Gamecocks. Up next on the schedule, the team will face the Western Michigan Broncos in Starkville.

It's important to never play down to or underestimate any level of opponent, but this should serve as a good tune-up game for the Bulldogs after hitting a three-game losing streak they desperately need to snap.

Head Coach Zach Arnett met with the media during the week to discuss what he saw out of the team in the Alabama game as well as the upcoming matchup on the schedule.

“Angry, I think it’s the correct word. I really do,” Arnett said when asked about how he wants to see the team play moving forward.

“We’re all competitors. I can guarantee you right now no one is more frustrated or critical of ourselves than players and coaches, because those are the people who put in the most time, effort, work and investment in the program. I appreciate the passion of our fan base, (but) no one is more frustrated than us. How you respond to that is what you control.”
