Did You Notice?
• Missouri’s defense forced the Shockers into 18 turnovers on Sunday, including six on the first eight possessions. The 18 opponent turnovers tie a season high for the Tigers.
• The offense coughed up just nine turnovers in the victory, resulting in a +9 turnover margin, a mark Mizzou hasn't reached at home since Nov. 27, 2018 against Temple.
• Mizzou made 23 of 25 free-throw attempts. The 92 percent free-throw percentage was the highest in a game with at least 15 attempts since January 21, 2020 against Ole Miss.
• Mizzou finished No. 9 in the final CFP rankings (they're not updated after the bowls). In his preseason publication, Phil Steele had the Tigers sixth ... in the SEC East.
