Mizzou Results

• The volleyball team (18-13) saw its season come to a close in the NCAA Tournament. After advancing with a first-round win against Delaware, it was swept by No. 1 overall seed Nebraska, 25-14, 25-19, 25-21. Sophomore Janet deMarrais had a match-high 13 kills, four digs and a block while graduate student Dilara Gedikoglu added 12 kills, six digs and a block in her final collegiate volleyball match.

• Wrestling: Missouri wrestling team finished second at the Cougar Clash with 143.5 total team points, two behind Minnesota (145.5). Mizzou earned three individual weight titles at the tournament hosted by SIUE: redshirt sophomore Josh Edmond (141), junior Rocky Elam (197) and redshirt senior Zach Elam (285). It was the season debut for Rocky Elam.

• Women's basketball: Mizzou 88, Southeast Missouri 43

• The swimming and diving teams defeated Missouri State for the 15th straight time. The men's team won 153-90, while the women scored a 147-96 victory. Junior Grant Bochenski notched three individual wins, in the 200 freestyle, 50 backstroke and 100 IM.

Did You Notice?

  • Dilara Gedikoglu finishes her collegiate volleyball career with 993 kills and 958 digs.
  • Michael Porter Jr. netted 13 points and eight rebounds, but the Denver Nuggets took a 123-117 loss at Sacramento. 
  • Jordan Clarkson (thigh) remained out for the Utah Jazz during their 118-113 overtime win against the Trail Blazers.
