• Mizzou football landed the No. 1 ranked defensive back in the 2024 transfer portal class, Toriano Pride. The Clemson transfer played with Luther Burden III at East St. Louis in high school and will step into the role of Kris Abrams-Draine and Ennis Rakestraw Jr.
• Mizzou football head coach Eli Drinkwitz was awarded the SEC Coach of the Year Award. 
• Cody Schrader made the CBS Sports/247Sports All-American First Team. 
• Wide Receiver Demariyon Houston opted to enter the transfer portal.
