Missouri's Mya Dodge helped put the first points on the board for the Tigers against NC State with an RBI that brought in junior Kara Daly.
With an opening night win against the Utah Utes, head softball coach Larissa Anderson won her 300th career game as a head coach.
The Tigers opened up on bars in their gymnastics faceoff against the Kentucky Wildcats. Senior Mara Titarsolej scoring a 9.950, with junior Jocelyn Moore scoring a 9.900, led to an overall bars score of 49.425. This was the second highest bars score in school history.
