• Guess who has another World Series ring?

On This Day in Mizzou History:

November 2, 1907: To give an idea of how much the game has changed from its early days, Missouri defeated Texas by the now unheard of score of 5-4.

November 2, 1946: After jumping out to a 21-point lead, Missouri held on to win 21-20 on a missed extra-point attempt and ruin Nebraska's homecoming.

November 2, 1957: Although it was outgained 329-123, Frank Broyles' team pulled off the 9-6 upset in wet, snowy conditions at No. 18 Colorado. Hank Kuhlmann scored a touchdown and Bob Lee blocked a Boyd Dowler punt for a safety.

November 2, 2013: A week after after squandering a 17-point cushion in the fourth quarter of a double-overtime loss to South Carolina, No. 9 Mizzou bounced back by crushing Tennessee 31-3.

"We're just kids out there tossing the ball around," offensive guard Max Copeland said. "It's recess time out there. We wanted to show we were still going to have fun doing what we do."

Quote of the Day

“It never gets old ... "
