- Former Missouri Tigers linebacker Nick Bolton and quarterback Blaine Gabbert won Super Bowl LVIII after the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers 25-22. This is the Chiefs' second consecutive year hoisting the Lombardi Trophy and Bolton has led the team in tackles both times.

Missouri softball defeats Clemson, wins NFCA Division I Leadoff Classic
