Former Arkansas commit Courtney Crutchfield pledged his commitment to Eli Drinkwitz and the Tigers, making Crutchfield the fifth 4-star prospect to join the 2024 class.

Crutchfield is ranked as the consensus No. 93 prospect in the country, as well as being the No. 20 ranked receiver. Crutchfield is also the second-highest-ranked player in the state of Arkansas. With this commitment, this is the third recruit from the Razorback state to join the class.

The 6-2, 175-pound receiver backed out of his commitment on Nov. 4 with the Razorbacks, as Missouri was all over his recruitment. The Tigers received predictions on multiple national recruiting sites just days after he left.

The Razorbacks were still competitive for the receiver, as they got him back on campus weeks ago.

Crutchfield recorded 930 receiving yards in his senior season at Pine Bluff to go along with 13 touchdowns. According to MaxPreps, Crutchfield had 1,368 receiving yards and 21 touchdowns in his varsity career. Crutchfield also played with Missouri commit Austyn Dendy.

This commitment continues to add to the momentum the Tigers have on the recruiting trail. The former Arkansas commit is the fourth addition to the 2024 class since the beginning of November. The Tigers class has skyrocketed to No. 23 in the country, which is lightyears better than 2 months ago.

The future keeps getting brighter for the Tigers as coach Drinkwitz continues to reload with talent. They certainly aren't done, as guys like 4-star safety Trajen Greco and 4-star running back J'Marion Burnette are names to look out for in the coming weeks.
