Football

The No. 14 University of Missouri football team returns home Saturday to celebrate Military Appreciation Day against No. 13 Tennessee. The teams will kick it off on Saturday, at 2:30 p.m. CT inside Faurot Field/Memorial Stadium. The game will air on CBS and Tiger Radio Network.

Last week Mizzou (7-2, 3-2 SEC) dropped a 30-21 decision at No. 1 Georgia. The game was tied at 10 at the half and the Tigers led 13-10 in the third. The Tigers lead the nation in red-zone offense and logged 30+ points in seven of nine games. Saturday's game is sold out, the fourth-straight sellout at Memorial Stadium, the first time since 1980 that feat has been achieved.

Basketball

The two NCAA Tournament teams from a year ago are set to collide in Columbia for an early-season test as Missouri welcomes Memphis to Mizzou Arena. Tipoff on Friday night is set for 8 p.m. on SEC Network.

Tamar Bates (18), Nick Honor (18), Noah Carter (15) and Caleb Grill (15) also scored at least 15 points in the game. Aidan Shaw led Mizzou in rebounding with nine, while Honor and Jesus Carralero Martin posted a game-high five assists.
