After three straight night games, the NC State football team returns to its familiar noon time slot for its ACC Atlantic showdown with Wake Forest in Winston-Salem on Nov. 2.

The ACC announced Monday that the Wolfpack and Deacons will have the early kickoff, with television coverage on ESPN.

Both teams have the coming week off before their annual in-state rivalry game.

This will be the fifth time this season State has played a game at either noon or 12:30 p.m. It has split those games, with both wins coming at Carter-Finley Stadium against East Carolina and Western Carolina and the two losses coming on the road at West Virginia and Boston College.

In its last 18 games starting before 1 p.m. dating back to 2016, however, the Wolfpack has won 16.
