State-Clemson gets prime time kickoff

Nov. 9 showdown with the defending national champions will be the third night game this season at Carter-Finley Stadium

For the third time this season, the NC State football team will be playing under the lights at Carter-Finley Stadium when defending national champion Clemson makes its biennial visit to Raleigh.

The ACC announced Monday that kickoff for the Textile Bowl showdown will be at 7:30 p.m. with prime time network coverage on ABC.

The Wolfpack has previously played home night games against Ball State and Syracuse this season, winning both. It lost its only prime time contest on the road, at Florida State.

Georgia Tech at Virginia, 12:30 p.m., RSN
