With a Big Ten Tournament double-bye up for grabs, Nebraska women's basketball didn't have enough.

The Huskers (19-10, 11-7 Big Ten) lost 74-73 at Illinois (14-14, 8-10 Big Ten). The loss ends a three-game winning streak for the Big Red and eliminates their shot at a coveted double-bye in the conference tournament this week.

Nebraska did not make a shot in the final five minutes of the game, but still had multiple chances to win it before the buzzer. Logan Nissley and Jaz Shelly both had attempts in the final 10 seconds, both missing the mark.

Shelley led the Huskers with 23 points. Natalie Potts and Alexis Markowski each notched 14 points, respectively.

The Big Ten Conference Tournament begins Wednesday in Minneapolis.
