Frost was fired Sunday afternoon, less than 24 hours after Nebraska lost at home to Georgia Southern. The Huskers are 1-2 on the season and face Oklahoma on Saturday.
Frost was on the hot seat even before the season started, but with new assistant coaches and the transfer portal was given time to change things around. Many could argue things in Lincoln only got worse.
