Casey Thompson can make things happen with his feet

Quarterback Casey Thompson should not be the Huskers' primary run threat, and he's not. However, more and more, we are seeing his ability to make plays with his feet, and that's a good thing. Casey does a good job of deciding when to throw the ball away and when to take off and pick up much-needed yards.

On this Doc's Diagnosis presented by Centris Federal Credit Union, Dr. Rob Zatechka breaks down a Thompson run in Nebraska's game at Purdue on Oct. 15. Despite the offensive line failing the quarterback, Thompson makes the right read to pick up the first down.
