Nebraska's Chubby Purdy came off the bench in the fourth quarter of a 10-10 ballgame and engineered a drive covering nearly the entire length of the field.
Impressive stuff. Then this happened.
With 3½ minutes remaining, Purdy's third-and-goal pass was picked off in the end zone. There would be no go-ahead score for the Huskers.
