Nebraska Athletics has announced its policy for face coverings at home events.

Following the Directed Health Measure from the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department, fans attending NU home competitions will need to follow differing rules depending on the venue.

At Memorial Stadium, masks are required in elevators, the press box, when outside the hallways and lobbies of the suite level, and when inside the indoor portion of the club level. Masks are recommended upon entering the stadium and in concourse spaces and in the seating bowl.

Fans are expected to bring their own masks, with only a limited number of masks available at the entry points.

At the Bob Devaney Sports Center, face coverings are required for all in attendance. The first matches are Friday and Saturday.

A release from Nebraska Athletics says fans “are asked to be responsible and respectful of the mask mandate. Cooperation with this DHM will help keep our student-athletes and community safe, Nebraska athletic venues operating at 100 percent capacity, and will help ensure a complete season across all sports.”

The current DHM runs through Sept. 30.
