SMQ: Nebraska Delivered a Rugged, Old-School 28-14 Win vs. La. Tech
Before the Nebraska-Louisiana Tech game, Sunday Morning Quarterback predicted a stout defense and another gritty performance by Husker QB Heinrich Haarberg. They both delivered. Anthony Grant rushed for 135 yards and a touchdown and earned his alpha status. The Huskers now lead the nation in rush defense. They'll need it as the No. 2 team in the polls, Michigan, rolls into town.
Bob and Jay welcome American war hero Andrew Bundermann to the podcast. Andrew was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross for extraordinary heroism in the Battle of Kamdesh in Afghanistan in 2009 (the most decorated battle since WWII). He was prominently featured in the movie The Outpost based on a book by Jake Tapper. Capt. Bundermann is a Minnesota Golden Gopher and a huge fan of the Minnesota Vikings.
