Braeden Jones: ‘I Would Definitely Come to This School’

In this story:
Nebraska is known to recruit from many parts of the country and is one of a handful of schools that have great success recruiting nationally.
Recently the Huskers offered 2026 edge rusher Braeden Jones from Mount Carmel High School in Chicago, Illinois. He measures in at around 6-foot-5 and 235 pounds and holds many offers including Nebraska, Auburn, Wisconsin and more.
Below is his offer post.

He spoke with HuskerMax to dive into the offer he received from Nebraska.
“To me, Nebraska’s atmosphere and fan base is what definitely stands out,” Jones said. ”I love all the appreciation I got from the fans when I first posted my offer.”
He talked a bit about his thought process following the offer.
“It is absolutely unreal. I didn’t even expect this to happen to me. I’m extremely honored and grateful for the opportunity to be noticed by such a historical school!”
“I was offered by Coach (Terrance) Knighton and Coach (E.J.) Barthel. My coach called me into his office before a test and I was given the offer. It made me feel great! Especially since I didn't even expect to receive the offer. I was stunned, it made me feel as if I could call this place home one day.”
He plans to visit the Huskers, although a date has not been set.
“Yes, I plan to visit in the spring sometime, whenever my family can get that coordinated.”
“Nebraska is definitely one of my top schools based on how much they believe in and trust me. I would definitely come to this school!”
