Nebraska has consistently targeted prospects from the 2026 recruiting class. With the 2026 class being on deck as the 2025 class has really started to kick off, it’s important to build relationships to put yourself in a good position with recruits moving forward.

Brandon Ford is a prospect from Crowley High School in Crowley, Texas. Texas is a key state to recruit from as it holds many top prospects each year. In the 2024 class alone, the state had eight five-star recruits according to 247Sports, highlighted by Justin Williams (linebacker for the Georgia Bulldogs).

Ford, who plays multiple positions in the offensive and defensive backfields, holds many offers and spoke with HuskerMax about the one he received from Nebraska.

“When I received the offer I was happy and excited especially since I have my peers who wanted me to get the offer,” Ford said.

“What makes Nebraska unique in a school perspective is the campus. I have never been there but from what I’ve seen it is a great location for me. From a sports perspective, I find the fans, traditions, and the success of Nebraska very unique.”

Ford has spoken to only one coach so far.

“As for right now, the only coach I have contacted so far is Coach (Garret) McGuire (wide receivers coach). But I am expected to meet more real soon.”

He does have hopes to visit Lincoln.

“My plan is to visit Nebraska as soon as I can to get a look at the campus and introduce me to the coaches.”

“Nebraska is indeed a top school I’d go to.”
