Mike Brown is a 2026 prospect from Legacy the School of Sports Sciences in Spring, Texas. He is a wideout who holds many offers including Wisconsin, Texas Tech and Oregon, and he recently added the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

“It was truly an honor to receive the Nebraska offer,” Brown stated to HuskerMax. “Knowing that a program with such a storied history believes in my abilities is both humbling and exciting. I appreciate any opportunity to contribute to a team's success. Additionally, it was a big honor, and it makes me feel like my hard work is paying off.”

“Nebraska's football history is what sets it apart. The program has a rich tradition of success, and being a part of that legacy would be a tremendous opportunity for any player.”

Because he is still a sophomore, he hasn’t had the conversations he is eager to have.

“As a sophomore, I haven't had the chance to speak with any of the coaches yet. However, I look forward to the opportunity to connect with them in the future.”

He talks more about the potential of visiting.

“Definitely would love to visit! I think visiting the campus and getting a feel for the program in person would be really important before making any decisions.”

Speaking of important decisions, it is obvious that Brown is not in the mindset of committing at this moment, but he does say the Huskers are a top school.

“Yes, Nebraska is definitely one of the top schools I'm considering. As a sophomore, I'm exploring all of my options and looking for the best fit both academically and athletically. Nebraska's winning history and reputation make it an attractive choice for me.”
