A week after dropping down a spot following a dominant win over Duke, the Notre Dame football team is back up to No. 15 in both the Amway Coaches Poll and the Associated Press Poll after its dismantling of Navy.

Navy was ranked No. 21 in both polls coming into this weekend's matchup, but the Midshipmen are now out after Notre Dame pounded them by a 52-20 score.

Notre Dame moved ahead of Auburn in both polls after the Tigers suffered a 21-14 loss at Georgia on Saturday night. Auburn was previously No. 13 in both polls.

Notre Dame now owns a victory over a ranked opponent. Virginia Tech found its way into the AP Top 25 after it earned a 45-0 victory at Georgia Tech. The Hokies lost to Notre Dame (21-20) on Nov. 2, but since then have beaten the Yellow Jackets and Wake Forest (36-17).
