Ohio State Betting Lines vs. Indiana, Wisconsin Set

The Ohio State Buckeyes were 6-6-1 against the spread in 2022.

The Ohio State Buckeyes now have lines for six of their games next season.

DraftKings Sportsbook set the lines for weeks zero and one games, including the Buckeyes' Sept. 2 matchup against the Indiana Hoosiers where they check in at 28-point favorites. Ohio State also opened as a 10-point favorite for its road trip to Madison, WI. to face former Buckeyes interim head coach Luke Fickell and the Wisconsin Badgers.

Ohio State was a double-digit favorite in every regular-season game last season except against Michigan when the Buckeyes were nine-point favorites.

In addition to the Indiana and Wisconsin lines, the current lines on DraftKings Sportsbook include Ohio State favored by seven points against Notre Dame, 10.5 points against Penn State and 24.5 points against Michigan State and 2.5-point underdogs against Michigan — the first time the Buckeyes will be underdogs in a regular-season game since the 2018 rendition of "The Game."

Ohio State has 27 consecutive wins against Indiana dating back to 1991 and, in the last five matchups, it is 3-2 against the spread including covering in back-to-back years. The Buckeyes' average margin of victory in the last 10 meetings has been 25.9 points.

The Buckeyes face the Badgers a little fewer and more far between, but still own the all-time head-to-head series 62-18-5 and an active nine-game win streak dating back to 2011.

During Ohio State's win streak against Wisconsin, it's historically been close as just three games have not fallen within two touchdowns — the Buckeyes' 59-0 beat down in the 2014 Big Ten Championship, their 38-7 win during the 2019 regular season and last season's 52-21 dismantling of former defensive coordinator Jim Leonhard's defense.

In the last five meetings, Wisconsin has covered in three contests, but the Buckeyes have covered the spread in two of the last three.
