WATCH: Ohio State Buckeyes Ex Jaxon Smith-Njigba Scores Game-Winning TD vs. Cleveland Browns

Ohio State Buckeyes receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba made the biggest play of his young NFL career on Sunday.

Former Ohio State Buckeyes receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba wasn't exactly kind to one of the state's two NFL teams on Sunday.

Continuing to come into his own as a rookie for the Seattle Seahawks, Smith-Njigba made the biggest play up to this point in his young career on Sunday at home against the Cleveland Browns.

After being held scoreless for nearly the entire second half following a 17-point first quarter, the Seahawks put together a five-play, 57-yard drive that ended with a go-ahead nine-yard touchdown from Smith-Njigba.

Take a look:

Smith-Njigba finished the game with three catches for 36 yards and the touchdown. This comes a week after he had his best game as a pro in a 20-12 win over the Arizona Cardinals, as he posted four grabs for a career-high 63 yards and his first-career touchdown.

“It feels great,” Smith-Njigba said of Sunday's win over Cleveland. “Great win, I thought we answered the call and got the W when it mattered. It was a big win for us, so happy we got the dub.

“Sometimes it’s a game of runs, you’re up, and you’re down, but it's about bouncing back. Getting back to that next possession, and that’s what we did. I felt like we held our heads high, and we just went out there and tried to do the best we could. All the mistakes, we’ll look at them and try and get them fixed.”

Smith-Njigba and the Seahawks will now look to move to 6-2 when they visit the Baltimore Ravens in Week 9.
