Ohio State Buckeyes defensive end Zach Harrison is officially an Atlanta Falcon.

After two rounds of waiting, the senior was picked 75th overall, officially marking the start of his NFL career.

Harrison spent a full four seasons with the Buckeyes, amassing 105 total tackles and 12 sacks during his time in Columbus. His presence on the line was enough to earn him multiple All-Big Ten selections and even a spot as a team captain in 2021.

The 21-year-old stands 6-5 and 274 pounds, making him a force for any NFL defensive line, and he utilized his size at every opportunity he got.

“I'm so excited about the player that I am today, and knowing that I have so much to work on and being in this position where I’m at right now," Harrison said ahead of the NFL Combine. "I hope that I get to tap into that.”

Harrison will get to be in Atlanta, where he'll join coach Arthur Smith next season. He'll also be welcomed by the NFL's 2020 Walter Peyton Man of the Year in Calais Campbell, who has also been a defensive force throughout his 15-year career.

Atlanta struggled last season on defense, allowing the eighth-most passing yards and recording just one more sack than the NFL-worst Chicago Bears.

Harrison addresses that need and will be looking to make an immediate impact for his new team come next season.
