The Oklahoma State Cowboys are continuing to be impacted by the transfer portal. They have already seen the likes of Brandon Garrison and Javon Small -- two impact players for Oklahoma State a season ago -- transfer out of Stillwater.

This comes as no surprise as Chad Weiberg and Oklahoma State moved on from head coach Mike Boynton after sevens seasons. He was an incredible recruiter, so it's no surprise his talents are hitting the portal to look for potential new programs.

The most recent player to hit the portal out of Stillwater is freshman Eric Dailey Jr., who averaged 9.3 points and 4.8 rebounds per game, according to Rivals. He's one of the highest potential players the Cowboys had, and whatever coach Oklahoma State hires should pursue Dailey out of the portal to return.

Dailey joined the Cowboys as the No. 75 recruit in the nation, according to Rivals. He was a huge secure for Oklahoma State, and his season saw plenty of flashes of potential. He was never put in the best position to best maximize his skill set.

One thing the Cowboys did during the season to switch things up was play Dailey as a small-ball center, which saw his production and role increase. In the right system, Dailey's potential is incredible, and Oklahoma State will certainly miss his impact and potential.

Again, Boynton was an incredible recruiter, and with him no longer being with the program, the talents he brought in leaving makes sense. In the end, the program needs a facelift, and that means the coach who comes in will be incredibly active in the transfer portal as is.

The basketball program in Stillwater will be looking much, much different come this fall. If the Cowboys are able to retain any of the talent that has already entered the portal, that would be considered a huge win.
