STILLWATER -- Oklahoma State now officially has two signees in the 2020 class. A day after the start of the early signing period, Oklahoma State announced the signing of four-star guard Rondel Walker.

Walker is a 6-2, 160-pound shooting guard out of Putnam City West in Oklahoma City. He's a unanimous four-star prospect and is a consensus top-100 player: ESPN has him listed at No. 46, 247Sports at No. 91 and Rivals at No. 94.

According to 247Sports, he's also listed as the No. 17 shooting guard in the country and the No. 2 prospect from Oklahoma, just behind Bryce Thompson.

He committed and signed over Arkansas, Kansas State, Texas, Virginia Tech and others.

Walker joins five-star combo guard Cade Cunningham in the class, giving the Pokes back-to-back top-25 recruiting class under head coach Mike Boynton.

What's fun about Walker and Cunningham joining up, is something we've talked about quite a bit: they were teammates over the summer. They played together on Texas Titans, a team in the Nike EYBL Circuit.

Both Walker and Cunningham helped Texas Titans to a perfect 5-0 record at the Peach Jam, the EYBL's championship tournament. Walker averaged 14.8 points on 52.9 percent shooting throughout the five games.

Throughout the entire circuit playing against the top players in the country, Walker averaged 12.4 points, 4.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.4 steals per game.

Going back to his junior season at Putnam City West, Walker helped lead the Patriots to the Class 6A state tournament. He finished the season averaging 23.1 points and more than five steals per game and was named to The Oklahoman's Big All-City first team and Super 5 second team. Throughout the course of the season, he recorded three triple-doubles, two of which included more than 10 steals.

There's still three open scholarships remaining for Mike Boynton and Co., and a guy to certainly keep an eye on over the next few days is JT Thor. Thor's a 6-8, 190-pound four-star power forward out of Norcross, GA that ranks in the top 50 and is the No. 8 overall power forward in the country.
