Despite a 2-2 start to the season, Oklahoma State Cowboys fans are continuing to show up. The Cowboys take on the Kansas State Wildcats on Friday, Oct. 6 at 6:30 p.m. CT, streaming on ESPN.

The Cowboys get a Friday night game against a solid Big 12 team. On top of this, they'll now be playing in front of a sold-out crowd once again.

The 2-2 (0-1) Cowboys will be hosting the 3-1 (1-0) Wildcats in a primetime game. This game will be no easy task for the Cowboys, as the Wildcats took down UCF by two scores in their first conference battle a week ago.

Kansas State's offense has looked much better than Oklahoma State's on the season, but if the Cowboys can establish momentum early, this matchup could turn out to be a close one, especially with their home crowd behind them.

This game is the fourth sold-out matchup on the season thus far. Central Arkansas and South Alabama, Oklahoma State's first two home games, have been sellouts. They sold out their matchup against Kansas State, as mentioned, and their matchup against BYU on November 25 is sold out.

Given the start to the season the Cowboys have had, the Oklahoma State fans have continued to show up and show out, and it'll pay off if the Cowboys are able to put together a complete performance on both sides of the ball.

It's hard to imagine their matchup against Oklahoma doesn't sell out, given that it's the final bedlam matchup before the Sooners depart to the SEC.

This level of support could be key heading into the "new look" Big 12 beginning next season. If the Cowboys can have things click sometime this season, they could be a top team in the new conference next season, and having the fans behind them will be crucial to a successful season.
