WATCH: Rebels' Pete Golding Gets Crowd Ready For Home Game vs. South Carolina
OXFORD, Miss. -- The Ole Miss Rebels men's basketball team needed some juice on the defensive side of the ball ahead of its Saturday afternoon battle versus the No. 20 South Carolina Gamecocks, so the football team let a familiar face fire up the home crowd before tip-off.
Ole Miss football defensive coordinator Pete Golding fired up the fans in the Sandy and John Black Pavilion on Saturday by leading the infamous "Are You Ready?" chant performed before every athletics event.

The Rebels could use all the help they can get defensively, as their opponents are currently averaging 72.2 points per game. At the halftime break versus South Carolina, Ole Miss was losing 36-22 and is currently behind 42-29 with 17 minutes remaining in the game.
