Ole Miss Women's Basketball Blasts Arkansas For Largest Win in Series History

The Ole Miss Rebels dominated the Arkansas Razorbacks on Sunday afternoon en route to the largest win in series history.

Ole Miss women's basketball closed out the regular season with a bang, dominating the Arkansas Razorbacks 87-43 on senior day, good for the biggest win over Arkansas in team history.

The Rebels jumped out to a 27-11 lead at the end of the first quarter, and they led 48-32 at halftime. With the game never really in doubt, Ole Miss had multiple scorers surpass double digits on Sunday, led by Snudda Collins with 18 points.

She was joined in that category by Kennedy Todd-Williams (15), Madison Scott (14) and Marquesha Davis (12). As a team, the Rebels shot 49.3 percent from the floor and 30.8 percent from three.

Arkansas, by comparison, shot 25.4 percent from the field and 15.8 percent from three.

With the win, Ole Miss finishes the regular season with a mark of 22-7 and 12-4 in the SEC, a program record for conference wins in a single season. The next task for the Rebels before the NCAA Tournament comes in the form of the SEC Tournament in Greenville, S.C., an event that begins on Wednesday.

The Rebels have already secured the No. 3 seed in the conference when play begins.
