LOOK: Rebels Reveal Uniform Combination for Season Opener vs. Mercer
OXFORD, Miss. -- The Ole Miss Rebels revealed their season-opening uniform combination on Thursday night, opting to go with white helmets, red jerseys and white pants against the Mercer Bears on Saturday afternoon.
This is the second season in a row where the Rebels have opened the season in white helmets, although last season against the Troy Trojans saw navy and red decals on the lids instead of this simple red design. You can see the uniform release here.
Ole Miss last wore this uniform combination a season ago against the LSU Tigers in Baton Rouge, a game that saw the Rebels jump out to an early lead before being blown out for their first loss of the season. It is also worth noting that the Ole Miss social media account mentioned the team potentially wearing a different uniform combination for each game this season as it did in 2022.
